Don't you wish you had more than two arms?

When I picked the kids up from school yesterday, the temperature was 70 degrees (sorry for all of you with snow and such up north). And since Ray was going to be home late, I decided to take the kids to a park and then to McDonald's for dinner. The park was a ton of fun and two of Ashley's classmates came as well.

Then we went to McDonald's. Does anyone ever have a completely positive experience there? I ordered our food to include one kid's meal with fries and one with apples. Ashley isn't a big french fry fan. Of course they give me both of them with fries, but since Audrey was pretty much gnawing her arm off at that point, I figured Ashley could make do. We were sitting down and Ashley was sitting across from me and Audrey was in a high chair to my left. Ashley decided after I had put her cheeseburger and fries in front of her that she wanted to sit beside me.

Right as I was carefully moving her cheeseburger wrapper with the cheeseburger and fries over all the other crap on the table (my purse, drinks, my food), Audrey decides to reach for the open milk container. AAAHHH. This is when more than two arms would have definitely been helpful. So what happened? I dropped Ashley's food which most of it ended up on the floor and Audrey managed to grab the milk and pulled it over before I could grab it. Audrey was pissed, Ashley was crying because Mommy pretty much threw food all over her. I got everyone calmed down, convinced the guy behind the counter to give me more nuggets, and we continued on.

Seriously, I'm not going to McDonald's again.

We were served by a really grumpy manager in Macdonalds recently, doesn't make for a pleasant trip!

That sounds like a lot of experiences I've had!

Look at the bright side...you're warm down there! We're supposed to get into the 50's tomorrow and we're jumping up and down :)

I feel your pain. (We NEVER get apples with our meals.) But it's great that the kids got to play at the park. I'm jealous of your 70 degrees.

I wish you luck on not going to McDonalds again. With 2 kids, I think you'll need it.

See...I prepare myself for NOT eating on excursions like this.

I just know I'm gonna need both hands like you said..but also sometimes 2 hands isn't enough.

Hope your next trip is better.

70? What the??!! Our high was MAYBE 20 yesterday? Back in my hometown tonight? Suppose to be 40 BELOW zero with out the wind chill factored in. I'm SO moving to your area!!

70's! Woot! We were wearing t-shirts and no jackets here, but I don't think it was in the 70's.

I don't eat at McDonalds...I worked there while in high school and it's just not positive for me. My kids HATE it, which is so weird...I thought all kids loved McDonalds. Mine are total BK fans.

Multi-tasksing was invented by a mother I think. No, I don't think I KNOW it was.

Were in the 70' too! this weekend will be the 80's- I'm glad the warmth is finally coming through(even though we don't get snow, it has been pretty chilly for a Floridian here!)

I'm sorry about the incident @ Mcdonalds- I avoid going in those places if I can- It becomes a big problem always w/ me!

I swear something like that happens to me every time we go. And whether I'm actually going to get the apples I ordered (instead of fries) is about 50-50.

70 DEGREES????? I'm so jealous. I'm freezing my as* off up here.

It happens in Chick-fil-a also :) Tuesday I sat down with Matthew and he tried to reach over the tray to get to the milk but it was too far and as I tried to grab the milk he started to fall of the chair. I automatically grabbed him and saw his hand reach out and knock over my large ice tea all over the place. I needed 3 hands for that day!

Never, never, never fails. This morning as we were rushing to leave for school, Jack grabbed KJ's still-full glass of milk from the edge of the table. Where did it dump? Right in my shoes. My new shoes. That I bought just two weeks ago.

Dude, I didn't take my daughter to a restaurant until she was 3, and that restaurant was McDonald (she's now 8). We decided to take Connor to a restaurant last month to see how it would work out...we left really early.

We aren't in the 70's but have been in the low 60's, and man, it's been nice! Except for the snow we had last Wednesday that almost killed me...

McDonald's is a kids best friend, and yes, I wish I had more than two ams ALL THE TIME!

Yes! I do I wish I had at least 4 one for each kid to grab. Especially when they were little and running in different angles, constantly!
Also I could tell you some crazy stories about our experiences at McDonalds, yeh it can be crazy there.

I really couldn't help but lmao at that post. Mostly because it sounds like something that would happen to me.

I will only take my kids to the drive thru - I'm a mean mommy like that. But you know you have to triple check the order at the drive thru. Because all hell will breakout if Abby's cheeseburger isn't plain or worse, she gets a "boy" toy! : ) I do think they have the best tasting fountain cokes though.
