Some Success

Over the weekend, Audrey has gone from a few bottles at day to NONE. She even took a sippy cup when she woke up last night around 3:00am. Yea! Sippy cups rule! I know, I should be sad that stage of babyhood is gone, but honestly, I'm not. I loathe cleaning bottles. And I love how Audrey is big enough she is giving hugs and kisses and is such a loveable baby toddler.

And she has taken more of an interest in walking. No longer are we holding both of her hands and walking behind her, but we can hold one hand and walk beside her. And she has taken 5 or 6 steps between Ray and I. Then, when I picked her up yesterday, her teacher put her down and she walked probably about 10 steps towards me. And very stable steps I might add.

Anyone else with a cold that just won't go away? Ray and I have had a cold for over a week now and just can't seem to shake it. I don't feel particularly bad, I just don't sound too good. Over the weekend, Ray didn't have a voice at all (not good for a real estate agent).

Happy Hump Day people. May you get over the Hump safely.

Oh, and go read my good high school buddy SJ today. She has a really good post. And this post too had me crying.

Go Audrey! I'm having such a blast with my little toddler right now...hearing him talk and watching his personality develop even more as he gains more independence is just priceless!

Bug's had a cold now for about a month. Not the same cold, you know, the kind that as soon as you start getting rid of it another one hits. It sucks.

Way to go Audrey!

Glad to hear that Audrey is 'one step' closer to saving your back! Hahahaha, just trying to be funny, lame.

I hope you and Ray shake that cold soon - maybe April is the magic month?

And I'm glad you liked my post, I see that other's did too so that made me feel better. And yes, Chick's post had me bawling my eyes at - at work - at my desk - gah!

Happy Wednesday!

Way to go Audrey on the sippys! It was so great when Emily stopped the bottles - they took up so much room in the dishwasher (yes, I'm lazy like that).

Go Audrey go!!!

There's no crying in baseball!
Crying in blogging is okay though!

Here's to weaning! Yea Audrey! :)

Those big steps--sleeping in a bed, potty training, off the bottle, tying shoes, are such big changes.

How sad is it that Casey is 21mths and today is day 3 of the NO bottle watch.

I too loathe cleaning them.

I went to SJ and DUDE I wrote her a freaking book. She's gonna hate me.

Can I be bossy and demand pictures of the girls with their towels I sent them? Cuz I'm bossy like that. I am the oldest in my family can you tell?

Glad to hear about the walking. That is such a great time in their lives.

I've had the wet cough I can't shake for nearly 3 weeks now and it has really outstayed it's welcome.

A cup in the middle of the night? That is a big step. (haha) Congrats!

I've had that cold all winter. You get so many more colds when you've got 2 kids at home to share the germs, I've noticed

I read you and Kellie and how Morgan and Audrey are starting to take steps and Alyssa won't even do that when you hold her hands. She immediately tries to sit down.
