Some Links

I came across this blog through a link on someone else's blog....please, go read. I don't know what else to say.

And check out Twins x Two. She, like so many of you, are walking in the March of Dimes walk. Her second set of twins were born prematurely.

That's all I got today. I am stuffed from dinner at Maggiano's and cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, compliments of Ray's parents. I am going to roll myself to bed now...

As you know Zach has a mitochondrial disorder and it is my biggest nightmare that I would not be able to care for him. I am so devasted by this story. Also motivated. I've been trying to take better care of my health. Not like I can prevent a brain tumor but I can do better. We'll have to put a reminder out on the 18th to donate. This is heart wrenching.

Every year I walk in the Race for Hope in Washington DC (for brain tumor research). I started walking when I lost a co-worker to a brain tumor. This year, on May 6th, I will walk to support Heather also.

My heart breaks for this family also. So much for one family to deal with. She seems like a very strong person.

Also I feel for the family with the preemies. Joshua was a preemie.

I did as you asked and read. I had to walk away from my computer after an hour of reading her posts. My heart ached, my eyes were full of tears and I was at a loss of what to think or say. Thank you...thank you for pointing me to that blog. It's the reminder we ALL need at times that regardless how "bad" we THINK we have it, someone always has MUCH more to deal with.

I read Heather's Story after reading about her on Karen's blog. I read about her baby and had to go back to read her story. It was all too much. How much heartache is one family expected to handle? Everyone is in my prayers.
