Teeth Suck

First off, we talked to Ray's brother last night and Aiden is doing much better. He is going to the doctor today, so they will get more updates on his progress. He is on albuterol breathing treatments, steriods and such, but making progress. Thanks for all the well wishes.

While we were in Northern Virginia this weekend, Audrey decided she would stay awake most of the night both nights and run a fever. She was otherwise fine (besides yakking all over Ray's brother's kitchen floor after Ray shoved Tylenol down her throat, her gag reflex is a little touchy), just tired and cranky. She is cutting all four incisor teeth (I call them eye teeth, anyone else call them that?) and has Ray's lack of threshold for pain.

Sunday night at home she did much better. She only got up once. Last night was a different story. She was up for a good part of the night again. I just wish the teeth would come through already.

You poor, poor thing! Those nights when you don't get much sleep are the worst...especially when you have to get up and go to work the next day!

I too call them eye teeth! I really hope she gets her teeth in fast and gives you guys some sleep!

I'm also very happy to hear that your nephew is doing better! I can't wait to hear what the doctors say!

Glad Aiden is improving. We've had to give Emily that albuterol. At least he's small enough to hold still for them I imagine.

Poor Audrey - no wonder she is miserable - all 4 teeth at once!

I call them eye teeth :) Morgan has 6 teeth that broke the gum and are making their way up/down. Thankfully, no major problems. Only ones that gave her a tough time were the very first teeth she cut and her molars.

Poor Audrey--it sucks to see them in pain and uncomfortable and not being able to make them better. Sleepless nights are craptastic--even more so when you have to get up and function someplace other than home the next day!!

Hope she's doing better!!

I feel for you. Oh how I do. We are cutting molars right now, a day late and a dollar short. It seems like it's taking forever...

This may be a stupid question, but have you tried Hylands Teething Tabs with her? They're tiny and dissolve quickly, and work well in an instant. I used them with Jack, and had to use them myself when I was going through all kinds of teeth hell.

I hope those teeth will be in soon... those are THE WORST!

And yes, we southerners call those, the eye teeth! ;)

Glad to hear that Aiden is doing better...

And I'm with you on the teeth. Just get it done and over with right!?

Isaac has finally gotten all of his, and yes, I call them eye teeth too! So we are hoping that that is the end to all of his sleeping troubles. I wish the same for you guys. It's tough.

And tiring.

Hello, I've come to visit. Thank you for your comments. I call them eye teeth too. Having some pop cycles, or frozen fruit bars better yet helps the yummy cold.
Dash and I also have to do breathing treatments from time to time, speeds ya up terrible. Camille can help, it comes in an infusion from the health food store.
Hardest job we'll ever love.

My 5 month old grandson is also trying to cut his first teeth and boy does he get cranky from time to time. Just wish the dang things would come on in.

I'm sorry to hear that. As you know LP kept awake most of last week and I don't even know what was wrong with him.

Hope the teeth come out soon and both of you can get some sleep!

I call them eye teeth, too!

Teething is awful - Pumpkin is getting his molars right now. One is in; the other three have been bothering him for a month. His waking hours are spent with his whole fist in his mouth, massaging his gums, and drooling like crazy. I'll be glad when it's over!

yup. called them eye teeth a time or two.

My grandaughter, Goober, has horrible asthma. All those meds are very familiar. Also, tag team relays in the ICU
