Another Edition of Where Am I Today (or Yesterday...)

Go here to see my review I did for The Opinionated Parent...

Go here (and scroll down to the August 6 entry, I can't get the permalink to work) to see the cool product that was mailed to me for me to try out for free. How cool is that??!! If only someone would mail me a new stroller or perhaps a side mirror for my van, that would be awesome...

Today is another scorcher as it is in most of the East Coast. Yesterday it was 83 degrees outside when I left my house at 6:45am. It finally reached 103 with a real feel of 112...

Tomorrow I am heading out of town. (I will be posting pictures tomorrow, I had Audrey's first haircut done on Monday (sob)). My friend Julie (the one in the picture of me in NYC with my Mom) and I are heading to Virginia Tech to check out the campus, the memorial they are building, and just hang out without kids at our old stomping grounds. I haven't been back in 3 years and am looking forward to see the campus. I am not looking forward to all the feelings that I will have in seeing Norris Hall where most of the shootings took place, but I think this will be a good trip. And maybe I will find a Virginia Tech apron...

Great review!! As someone who doesn't cook, but steamed veggies on a nightly basis, these bags will kick it for me!! I want free stuff sent to me :)

Have a great trip! Hubby and I always have a great time visiting our parents, who happen to live in our college town, and remembering all the good times!

Be safe, Amy. I will tell you, the emotions I felt returning to Blacksburg and driving around the Drill Field were tough. The memorials are beautiful and I wept like a baby.

Enjoy the 'Burg! For me, it's heaven on earth. :o)

Hope you have a good time at VT! AT least you'll get out of this humidity. It is just killing me... I go outside and I can't even breathe!!

would you please say a quick prayer while you're there for my Friend Jeremy Herbstritt who was killed that day? Thanks!

Have fun visiting your alma mater! I know the emotions will be tough because of the shootings , but at the same time it'll be bittersweet. VTech will always be a part of your life, lots of memories! Can't wait to hear about it, and I hope you bring back an apron.

Great reviews by the way....

I saw your review over there. I'm glad those books helped. We have the No Biting, No Hitting and No Kicking. I also had seen your review for the cooking bags. How did that come to happen? I'm curious how these companies find us for reviews. I just got approached by another one that I'm excited about.

What? Still no side mirror?

my car thermometer read 109 Friday when I left work. 109. yeah

I'll be praying for you as you go to VA Tech and walk those hallowed grounds It will be hard I'm sure.
