I am helping out a writer tommorrow and participating in her blog tour (so definitely come back and check it out tomorrow, there just may be a free book in it for you...), so Friday pictures are today...
Monday night Ray took Ashley to the gym with him so that she could play, and Audrey and I had some time to play too. To Audrey this meant playing with the front door for 20 minutes. Seriously. She spent 20 minutes going in and out, in and out.

She is trying to close the door on her own.
I am going outside Mom whether you like it or not.
Success! I have pushed the big heavy door open (it helps that my Mommy leaves it cracked...)
And this my friends, is how she gets out of the door. She started backing herself up, and sometimes she starts the backing up process just a little bit farther away from the step than I personally would. Just saying.
Knock, knock...

Love the pictures--she's gotten so big!!
Morgan is fascinated with doors, too. And stairs. She will happily go up and down stairs for a solid half hour.
:)
I love it when kids start backing up so early! My son always cracked me up because he'd be a couple feet away from something and he would turn around and start crawling backwards until he got to the step.
Audrey's so cute!
Such a big girl!! She is so cute!!
oh boy, she reminds me of my Emily :)
Hey, my post is finally public now. I came out of the closet.
Too cute. Kids are so funny - who would think a door could be so much fun!
hee hee..so cute! My son LOVES doors. As he is only 13months I am desperately trying to keep him away so he doesn't catch his fingers, but he LOVES them.
Love her little face...
Oh and we totally took the recipe for the enchilada thing you posted the other day. I sent it to my husband and he said it looked good so he'll be making it next week!
Such lovely photos. You get the feel of the effort she is putting into this and the pleasure of success through that smile.
What a muffin. She reminds me of my daughter with her pink crocs. Slthough LP's always seem to fall off...
I wish my daughter would back up to go down stairs from anywhere. She likes to face things head on and thinks she can walk down the stairs!
Haha! How cute is that?!
I love that at this age, they make even the most simple things so much fun.
Love the pics!! Audrey gets prettier and prettier every time I see a new pic.
Alyssa goes down even the smallest step the same way. It is too funny to watch.
She is adorable as always. :) I love the bakcing up thing, I remember my kids doing it on the stairs and after they've been doing it awhile they get really fast.
I also thought it neat to see her signing, I bought a teaching sign book for my grandson and his mama and I are working with him. My oldest son knows sign quit well as he had several deaf friends during high school. Although, Tristan will probably think I'm a moose cuz I think that's the thing (sign) I do everytime I say my name to him. "Come to MeMaw" with my thumbs on my temples and my fingers waggling. :)
she is so cute!!!
She is beautiful! I love the way kids think when they are learning something new!
they love sliding doors, too
i really enjoyed this little story :)and also, I think sign language with kids is really cool. I am trying to teach my pre-k's the sign for "sing".
she is absolutely precious !
Cute!
LP did exactly the same thing a couple of days ago - it's a new thing, opening and closing (my bedroom) doors. Next time I'd be sure to have the camera ready! :-)
ohhh she is so adorable;) gotta love what they do some days
She's so cute! I love when they are that age and learning things like that they get so focused on repeating it.
She's so cute Amy, and has gotten so, so big! Do you find that people make over her more than Ashley?
