Monday Funk...

I am in that Monday Funk...I have to work today and tomorrow, and I just don't want to work.

And waking up two nights in a row to a dog who needs to go out at 1:00am doesn't help. Nor does a certain four year old who got up today at 5:30am.

And I am stressing a little. Just ask Ray, I tend to stress out about stupid stuff, but I don't know how not to.

Like the class I am in now for my Master's degree. The teacher gave me a freaking D on my paper. And I am PISSED because it was a stupid summary of a chapter in our book paper. And I think she is just being a bitch because she is being observed in this class. So I questioned some things in my grade in hopes she will reconsider.
And as usual, for our team paper that is due today, I have done 90% of the work. Cause I actually care about my grade.

I know it will probably turn out okay, but it still stresses me out. I have a bunch more stuff for this class that can pull up my grade.

But the real stupid thing I am stressing about? Now stores are opening up at midnight on Black Friday...but not all. What the heck? So some stores I can go to at midnight, but then I have to get back up at 4:00 am for the other stores? AAAHHHHGG....see, I told you I tend to stress about stuff that really shouldn't stress me out.

Sorry about the D--hopefully, she'll reconsider.

I stress over stupid things, too. I just don't know how NOT to.

I've done Black Friday before--haven't done it now in 4 years and have no desire to. If stores here would open at midnight, I'd do it. Not so much at 5am.

:)

I'm so in the same funk this week and my 3 day work week is incredibly hectic.... I have a knot in the pit of my stomach over it. We can be stressed together.

Now I can see a positive to having no money to even go shopping on Black Friday. HA!

Sorry about the grade!

5:30 is Tigger's every day wake up call.

I'm feeling the same way, I have to work today and tomorrow, and I'm not looking forward to working Black Friday. That is weird about some stores opening that early, I'd do the midnight ones, but I'm not a morning person.
Sorry about the grade, I hope she reconsiders.
If it helps make you feel better, I stress over stupid stuff all the time.

I really hope the teacher reconsiders!!

I didn't go black friday shopping last year, since I had Drama. don't think I will go this year, either.

I'd just take a long nap after Thanksgiving and head out at 11:30 - that way you can go to the midnight sales and then the morning sales too! Have a great Thanksgiving since I'm heading out of town and won't be able to say hi :-)

I feel your pain! I have a 2 day week and I felt like blowing it all off and having a no day work week! ;) I too stress over things that I shouldn't stress over! If you figure out how not to do that, let me know. I am sorry that the dog and kids are keeping you up! I remember how it was when we were dog sitting for Gary's brother and his dog woke me up every night to go out....arg! And then the kids wake you up just when you get back to sleep! double arg! Hope the rest of the week better!

Just think about it this way- if you go to the stores that open at 12am, chances are you'll be standing in long lines...and? By the time you are done with those stores, it will probably be 4am, so you can go to the other stores. Yes, I did this last year, shopped from 12am to 10am. It's stupid...but fun :)

We rarely go Black Friday shopping, although we might venture out this year. Depends however on the snow storm that is heading our way....

Don't stress over the small stuff, it's not worth it!

Group projects suck - one person always ends up doing all the work.

Sorry about the D - maybe D meant delightful?! : ) Ok, bad joke.

I swear stores are trying to eek out whatever shopping time they can this year.

And the dog nightime stuff - thankfully our puppy can now go from 10:30 - 6am - much better. You'll get there too - Tootles is still new.

A D?!?! Ok, I seriously doubt you deserved that.

I hope last night was better...

About the stores... Make Ray go to the ones at midnight. You get up and go to the ones at 4:00!!

Sorry about the D on the paper. I would be pretty pissed about that also!

I haven't really ever done the Black Friday thing before. Partly because either I was working in the mall on that day or I was working for the clinics and they didn't give me that day off.

I must be old....I can't even think of doing Black Friday. My daughter really wanted me to go. But, I did almost all of my shopping online...it really is so much easier and the stuff gets delivered right to my house! With young children, I think it is more difficult...Happy Thanksgiving!

Hang in there Amy! I get upset over stupid stuff too, but its just who we are. Sorry to hear about the D. I can't stand that when you are getting graded on other stuff than your work. Not fair. I couldn't believe that some stores opened at 12 am on Black Friday either, but I just skipped them. I did head out at 5, but didn't think that there were really good deals this year. At least you can stop stressing about the sales since we have another year until Black Friday!
