This is your public service announcement...change your clocks tonight!
Which I hate. Seriously. I have kids that get up between 6:00am and 7:00am....so what does the fall time change mean? Means they get up at 5:00am. It takes about a week to adjust.
And this morning? Ashley got up at 5:00am. I let her climb in bed with me and she maybe went back to sleep for 20 minutes.
And of course Ray is in Phoenix until Wednesday. And I know I promised Halloween pics, but they are on Ray's laptop...in Phoenix (Ray, email me a few!).
But it's 8:20am right now, and Audrey has yet to get up. She's the sleeper in the family. Of course, I really need her up as we have a birthday party for Ashley to go to that is about a 45 minute drive away (an hour if I include the Starbucks stop I intend to make) and the party starts at 10:00am.
I foresee no shower for me this morning.

Yes the time change sucks when you have kids. And dogs.
Hope you have fun at the birthday party!
Yeah, the time change thing stinks! I hope you were able to get everyone together for the party...no worry about the no shower- as long as you have all your clothes on, you are in good shape!
I've managed to adjust we had our change last week. What I hate is the early darkness. Hope Ashely enjoys the party.
Thank you for the public service announcement. Seriously. I had totally forgotten about it.
time change is hard for me, too.
THANK YOU so much!!! We have an appt at noon tomorrow and we would have been all screwed up! I just realized my computer has made the change and all the clocks in my house are wrong! Good thing I'm reading your blog just now. Thanks again!
I remembered the time change but mostly because Kelly's brother thought it was last week and tried changing it last week! I wish we could get rid of it though it just gets us all screwed up!
Hope to see halloween pics soon!
These are the times I realize WHY I like living here in AZ, we don't have time changes!!!
The only thing I HAVE to remember is who's the same time as me, CA or NM.
Which I would have read this last night considering I got up at 6 on my only day to sleep in and my hubby who had to leave at 3 am to catch a flight in philly could have slept an hour longer too. Ooops there is always next year to be on top of it, I guess. Thanks for trying to keep me together.
I hate the time change big time. SO much I have looked at living in places like Flagstaff so I would never have to do it. :D
Oh the spring one is even worse on me. Forget the kid, just on me.
Tonight I spaced it, I was all "why is it so DARK?" oh... yeah....
3 words for Ashley - room darkening shades. They worked wonders for Abby!
