Bullets points because that's all I got...

  • Our washing machine is broken. The one that's not even two years old. The one that broke about 8 months ago. Do not buy a front loader GE washing machine. If we had a couple hundred dollars sitting around, we would so buy a new non-front loading, non GE machine. The repair person is coming on Thursday, and he better have the damn part to fix it.
  • Ashley asked us to put her to bed at 7:00pm on Saturday night. That's how tired she was. She had Hayden's birthday party Saturday plus just a full week back at school last week. She was cooked.
  • Our nephew Aidan is in the hospital again. Last update he had the flu, but they were running tests last night. He will be one in February.
  • I totally forgot to wish my Stepdad Ed a Happy Birthday on January 8th and my friend Wendy on January 6th. January birthdays sneak up on us when we least expect them.
  • I tend to be a germaphobe this time of year. Yesterday at church, they did one baptism and the pastor walked the baby around and let various people give the baby a kiss. All I could think of was that IT IS FLU SEASON PEOPLE!
  • I haven't had coffee yet this morning....it's going to be a long day...

** I love the GE front loaders, but have heard there's been problems with them.

** Poor Ashley!! Did she sleep until 8 or 9 the next morning or was she up at 6?

** Poor Aidan :( Keep us updated!!

** My father and step-mother's anniversary was January 2nd. I mailed their card Saturday. Anything in January sneaks up behind me and smacks me in the head.

** I'm a FREAK this time of year--I'm always trying to remember to not touch a cart or anything else in a store and than touch my face.

So is Audrey learning by the examples by her big sister? Keven Jr. was tired this weekend too. Unfortunately all that brought us was more meltdowns!

I hope they fix your washing machine. And January birthdays do the same to me!

Hope you have a good day!

I would have freaked out! I once told a women to "back away from my baby" when Alyssa was 2 weeks old...she thought she'd come up and start touching her and I didn't know who she was! It was also the height of flu season. Some people!

Hope Aidan is feeling better soon, it's always scary when they hospitalize them.

Crud on the front loader/washer not working. And only 2 years old - that sucks.

Abby was SO cooked this weekend also but I think she was over tired and just couldn't settle down.

My mother-in-law is a lab tech at one of our local hospitals and she told me that this past week 80% of the kids that came through the er and had blood sent to the lab had the flu! The week before, it was next next to none!

That sucks about your dishwasher. We've had a Whirlpool, and we've had no problems with it. It's been almost nine years and it's about on it's last wash. I hope the repairman has the part you need.

Yay! I love party weekends. The kids have so much fun playing, they wear themselves out. The only thing is sometimes they get up really early!

Keep us posted about Aidan. It is so sad to see them so little in the hospital. I hope you gets better soon.

Hope your Monday gets better after your cup of coffee.

I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew...I hope he is better soon. It is so hard when kids are little. I am with you on the germs. This time of year those germs just seem to bread like crazy...I stay as far from sick kids as I can so I don't carry germs home. Time to scrub down and disinfect.

Sorry about your washer! I had to get a new washer/dryer last year and I was so irritated. (We have the stack one)

Sorry about Aidan too! I hope everything gets better soon.
