It's almost April

Thank goodness March is almost over. With the weather warm one day (it was 80 here on Friday) and then cold the next (yesterday was rainy and 50), I am looking forward to some consistency in the weather.

The next few months we have a full schedule. Just random things like band concerts and festivals, Ray has a trip to San Diego, Ashley finishing up Pre-K and "graduating", a wedding to attend, a block party on our street. I am also hosting a jewelery party at my house this week. A Mom of a kid in Ashley's class designs her own stuff, so I am hosting a party for her. And yes, I will tell her about Etsy.com.

We had a good weekend. Since yesterday was rainy, we went to church, but spent the rest of the day inside and at home. Ray was doing some open houses, so I got to hang out with the girls which was nice since I scrapbooked all day on Saturday.

Anyone do anything for kids on April Fool's Day? I have never done anything. My brother one year did have his co-workers relocate his cubicle on April Fool's Day...

Love the cube relocation!! Never heard much for kids, but that doesn't mean anything.

I am SO with you on consistency in the weather. Sunny and 45 through the weekend and today and Tueday? 50's and 60's, but all rain.

When I was teaching one year a parent pulled all kinds of pranks on her kid... she froze his cereal bowl with the milk and cereal in it. That is the main one I remember. As a child every year my dad came in our room and told us that it had snowed and there was no school

I've never done anything really on April Fool's Day, maybe this year I could......

We had a busy, but good weekend ourselves. And the days to come are going to be just as busy. It's nice though isn't it?

Oh, I read an article about how you can make an "ice cream sundae" but the ice cream is mashed potatoes, etc. I bet if you google it you can find it.

I told my mom I was preggo one time.

Hmmm, might do that to a certain husband this time...

I'm thinking of replacing the sugar with salt...

maybe a fake pregnancy test...that'd be a good one!

For the kids...I'll have to think!

Our weather is the same. It did get into the mid 60's today, but very gloomy. Great day to go back to work. Glad you had a relaxing Sunday! Nothing for April Fools here except trying to stay one step ahead of my 3rd graders at school on april 1st.

The only thing I usually do for April Fools is mess with my family & friends and tell them I am pregnant. Of course they all freak thinking I will be having another and they unbelievably fall for it every year. LOL

Didn't realize you were a scrapbooker! It is fun, isn't it??? I am passionate about my cards and paper!! I could go for some more consistent weather too. It's been snow one day, and 60 another! Happy April First!~
