I only have photoshop elements and I am not sufficiently expert to pass on tips as I'm learning. However, I can see the difference between the two photos. Have fun with it :)
They look great! I love Photoshop; sometimes my tinkering can get away from me, though. For me, it's sort of like being given a book of paint chips and being told to "pick one." (Often ends badly, with bright yellow, schoolbus-colored walls!) Something else I like is Google Picasa -- it's a really easy, free interface that will do a lot of different things to pictures, and there are special buttons for Blogger (not as many functions as Photoshop, but still...)
I know nothing about photoshop but the second photo - Audrey's skin looks lighter but the background looks darker. WHat is supposed to be the difference?
I just got my Photoshop CS up and running. I think it is an older version so I am not sure what it does. I bought two books and added it to my gotta do this summer list. I'll be checking in for the tips you get and as you play share the tips cause I would love to pick up on some.
much more than mom, yes you definitely should add some tips on your blog cause I would read them for sure!
I've had Photoshop for about 5 years and never used it. Then all of a sudden I decided to give it a try. I find I can do a few things, but nothing like the pros. Please share any tips, I mostly change file size, brightness, and the picture crop.

at least you can do something with your photoshop. I can't seem to do ANYTHING with mine!

nevermind, i'm an idiot - the background looks darker in the first one. So i'm guessing you photoshoped the second one?
I have Photoshop too but am not really good at using it! So yeah, any tips/tricks you get - send them my way!
And I notice a difference between the two photos!
I can definitely see the difference! I am a CS3 addict and was thinking of posting some tips at my site occasionally. Think I should?
my tip would be - read Confessions of a Pioneer Woman - her new section on photography lessons. Awesome!

take a class.
I have it
I took a class
I'm still staring cross eyed.
It's all the layering.
I used Msft Picture It (self taught) and still jump back into it for my copyright and a few other easy fixes.
I've not tried any of the color changes.
Darn cute picture, by the way.
