Friday Pictures - Thursday Night Bedtime

So Ray has been out of town all week - hence the additional lack of posting and reading as I decided to use up some leave at my now "old" job prior to starting my new job on June 9th.

I was going to post pictures of my outing at Julie's house, I will have to save those for next week. I am too tired tonight to edit the 100+ pictures Ray snapped that evening. Hence why I don't give him the camera much.

A few things I have learned from staying home this week:
1) My kids like to fight. And Audrey likes to pinch. And Ashley likes to push. And I don't like to act like a referee.
2) Potty training sucks. End of story.
3) But taking away sippy cups all of sudden became a piece of cake.
4) Grocery shopping with two kids in a Harris Teeter with both of them pushing around their own sized shopping carts also sucks.
5) The days go by way too fast. I thought they went by fast when I am at work all day...I can't believe it's already Friday.

In addition to Ray being gone, I actually have a band concert at a function at their school tonight. I had to round up babysitters (thanks Edie!) for that as well as for the Thursday night practice (thanks Matt and Wendy!). So we got home kind of late from Matt and Wendy's house last night, and the girls crashed. Hard. Check out the "diva" with the High School Musical sheets and her Hannah Montana eye cover thingy.

Yes, she is asleep, and no, the flash did not wake her. Although it did wake up the next one who refuses to sleep in the bed. I asked her if she wanted to get in her bed, to which she said no.

sorry about the potty training and the rest, hope it gets better!

Do you let you kids have the free cookies at Harris Teeter if they behave? Keeps my girls right in line. (obviously, i am not above bribery!)

All good lessons to learn!!!

Love the sleep shots. The mask is so frigging cute. And the floor-sleeping sweetie is too adorable!

Thanks for sharing!

Does Audrey just like to sleep on the floor or does she not like to sleep in her bed? She is so cute all curled up on the floor. Maybe she would sleep in her bed if she had a big girl bed like Ashley's instead of the toddler bed. I have heard from others that their kids would not sleep in a toddler bed but stayed all night in a regular bed. I don't know because Jeremy has slept in a regular bed since he was 16 months old because he would not sleep in his crib. Only because I already had a twin bed I did not spend the money on a toddler bed. I don't know if you are even looking for suggestions here but thought I would mention it. Have a great weekend! I'm going to meet my new nephew on Sunday. He was born on Tuesday. There is a picture of him on my blog if would like to look.

Oh my....those photos are hilarious! Ashley sleeps with the eye cover on all the time, or just that night? And isn't Audrey so precious on her floor! Maybe she's afraid of falling out of her bed?

Keven Jr. likes to pinch and Isaac's the pusher. They fight all the time too. Sounds like the four of them together might just have one hell of a time!

Have a great weekend.

LOL at Audrey on the floor! I have had only one of my kids be like that and it's a hard habit to break. I still find him sleeping in random places (everywhere but his bed. LOL)
Hope the potty training gets better.

I totally want Ashley's sleep mask...too darn cute. You can do the potty training thing, she will get it. I know I was resigned that I was going to have the first adult daughter in diapers, but somehow Zoe came around. Hang in there!!
