New What?

On June 9th, I start a new job. It's still with accounting, but I will be a financial consultant and getting away from the routine of an accountant in a corporation. Great job, unbelievable benefits, great hours, family friendly.

And this did not come out of left field. And yes, I am still taking classes, but I am not finishing them when I thought I was. I obviously can't read a class schedule. But I could not stay in this job anymore. To go to a job you are not happy at is hard. It's one thing to not like working (who does?), but it's another to sit at a desk all day not happy.

So the craziness of last week? This is why. I was getting the offer for the new job, resigning from my old. Not fun. I hate doing that stuff. I hate confrontation, I hate making people mad.

So I am at this job this week until Wednesday. Thursday we are going back to Virginia for a wedding and to have a BBQ with Julie and her family. Then the following week I am taking a week's vacation and hanging out with the kids. Then one more week at my current job, and then off to my new one the following week.

I am so not stressed anymore.

I don't know how you do it all
(I think back to working full time with 3 kids and all the extra curricular stuff... It exhausts me)
