One of those days...

I am one hour away from giving a presentation to about 40 people at work. I won't bore you with the details of financial monitoring of contractors, but instead of the post I wanted to put out there, I am passing along a few things I have read lately or found interesting...

  1. For those that don't know, my first name is Amy, and the other day I heard that Britney Spear's song that has my name in it. Well, thanks to SJ, I found out that song has a hidden meaning. Check out this link...
  2. The other day I was sent a link to a cool site. If you are a troop leader, run a preschool, or are just looking for something to do with a group of kids, there is a great site for free field trips: Field Trip Factory.
  3. Little known news information from last week - the 2010 Census is no longer under the Department of Commerce. It is now under the White House. I think this is important news as the census controls federal aid to states as well as congressional districting lines.

In other unworthy news, I started the 30 Day Shred video last night. I did level one, and while I was almost unable to walk upstairs after it, I wasn't sore when I got up this morning. I was thinking I would actually move to level two tonight.

Um, no. I am getting more and more sore as the day goes on. This presentation should be a blast....

I did 30 Day Shred once about two months ago. Damn near killed me. I started it again this past Monday night. Wasn't too bad yesterday until about 7pm. And then? I did it again. This morning? I'm sore, but I did 30 minutes of yoga off the Wii Fit and that seemed to make a difference.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm actually LIKING this whole working out thing.

Good luck with the presentation!!

If I remember correctly I think I found your blog via AbbilyEverAfter's ornament swap...I tried to visit her blog today and it gave an error message. I sure hope she doesn't keep it down. I loved participating in the swap! And she was always interesting to read! Anywho, take care!

PS I am slightly addicted to my iPhone too!
