I am totally digging this Fun Monday thing. This week's challenge was presented by Swampy. We are to link to a memorable post. My memorable post is a) pretty recent and b) from someone I read all the time. I tried going through CPA Mom's blog roll and reading new blogs, but in the back of my mind, the one that stuck in my head was this one, by Mrs. CPA.
Why? It just really hit home. I joke about how I always have my camera with me to take pictures, but I don't. I don't have it upstairs in the playroom when Audrey reaches for her sister and Ashley abides and gives her a hug. I don't have it for that first wake up, squinty eye morning face from both my girls. And I don't have it when Ashley is playing with her friend across the street and reaches for her hand to hold. And as she states in her post, "hopefully I can look back and capture the same feeling" as those times I wish I had a camera...

A perfect choice!
Very nice post. I think we all feel that way!! I wish I spypen.
I agree, Great post!
I wish I had a videocamera with me everytime my 3 year old says "I love you mom" or "Thank you mom"
Instead of everyone just seeing the "wild side" of him-LOL!
I'm with everyone else, great post!
I'm a little slow commenting on your last post but I'm glad the surgery went well! She's such a cutie!!
The post that you referenced hit close to home for me too.....time just flies by and really it's the little things that count the most. The only problem is, the kids do those things when you least expect it!
I totally agree with you here. If only we could capture these ordinary, yet incredibly special moments and hold on to them forever. It's sad how much we forget through the years.
Oh that is a good one!! My aunt Always has her camera with her so she never misses a shot! I'm so jealous..cuz I always forget mine! Guess when you make it a part of your daily routine..it becomes natural! Good choice!
Great post, I recently got a camera phone which I use on those occassions when I don't have my camera.
I left a comment yesterday and blogger ate it, so humph.
Thank you for such a sweet honor. Out of all the posts on all the blogs, you chose mine, and that means a lot. Probably that you don't read enough blogs, but I'm ok with that. :-)
