Snow Day!

They have been calling for a wintry mix all week here in North Carolina. So of course the entire city shuts down with a little teeny tiny bit of snow. No biggie, I get a snow day at home with the kids! Only problem with snow days, I just want to eat and eat and eat. Anyone else like that?

So it has already turned into freezing rain, what fun! Doesn't Ray looked thrilled to be outside?

Tomorrow is Audrey's surgery, I will post pictures and updates when we get home. We have to get up at the butt ass crack of dawn to be there at 6:15am for a 7:45am surgery.

AhHa! I knew it snowed where you live!!! Glad you get to enjoy a snowday with the kids, and yes, I find myself stuffing my face with whatever I can find when I'm home with the kids, and it's crappy outside. Strange.

I wish you luck with Audrey's surgery. I'll be thinking about you guys and sending well wishes your way!

We were supposed to get a snow day, but nope. Maybe tomorrow. Hope Audrey's surgery goes well.

Thanks for the encouragement on my blog, and congrats on your weightloss accomplishment so far. I was down a pound this week and have really slimmed down my beer belly. Freezing cold here in C/S today. A dusting of white only. Tomorrow's HIGH is supposed to be 8. Yes 8. Time to have the missus fix up some veggie soup!

I'm so glad they moved your surgery up. That sweet baby won't have to be hungry for so long.

It will all go well, just be careful on your way there!

WE went outside ourselves this morning - played for about 2 hours until it finally rained, lol... Thank goodness because I was bored and cold!!

I am from Minnesota and no way is that enough snow for a snow day.... but hey take one when you get one!
I used to bake on snow days. Winter in California and I am eating sugar free popsicles. LOL

Best of luck tomorrow, it should be worth it.

We had less snow and this and they still called off school and cancelled a ton of stuff.

We went to the grocery store. :)
