Friday Pictures

This has been "hell week" for lack of a better word. Ray left Tuesday morning for Texas for a conference and doesn't come home until late tonight. Ray's parents came last night so that I could go to band practice and then my concert tonight. I had a couple of nights of Ashley screaming and waking her sister, a couple of mornings of trying to take a shower with Audrey eating tampons and Ashley snatching them from her and knocking her head first into the bathroom cabinets. But other then that, it's been okay. Here's what we do when Daddy's away...

Eat cookies...

Dress up like Minnie Mouse Princess and eat more cookies...
Dance around in new clothes Mommy bought you at Old Navy (just in case you didn't know "Pink is the new black").
Play in Daddy's office (I think Audrey wants to start her own blog).

And for those of you who were wondering about Ray's self employment, he is a real estate agent with Kellar Williams Realty. And yes, we are filing tax extensions...nothing like postponing the inevitable another six months...

Cute pics! I'm sure you'll be really glad when Ray gets back tonight...It's so hard when there's just one of you. I really learn how much I normally take hubby for granted when he's gone.

Showering - meals - bedtimes. It all is harder by yourself. I admit that I generally plop Ally in front of a movie so I only have to deal with one at a time when Rob's gone for an extended period.

I'm loving your Friday in pics thing...your girls are so cute!!

I am giggling at the eating of tampons. Of course, now that I've giggled at someone else for it, my own child will do it now!!

Single parenting sucks. I have great admiration for people who do it full time - like That Chick and Browned Eyed Girl, and military moms and dads, etc. I could not do it! I'm a wuss.

Love the pictures. I must get that shirt for Eeyore. I'm going to send you the link to the shirt I just ordered her.

I hope you are hiring a CPA!!!

Eating tampons is hilarious... of course, Hayden would ask what it's really used for. That would be interesting to explain! :)

Glad Ray is coming home tonight. Maybe we should go out for a few hours this weekend so you can get a well deserved break!

Hey, at least you survived!! :)

I totally need to buy that shirt for Abby. She is all about pink. But then I would be copying your purchases yet once again. What a looser I am. I just never get to the mall to look around.

Yes we have had our moments of tampon eating children in our past also.
It is much harder to do things when the hubby is away. I am never as good about making meals for some reason...
I love your picture Fridays and may have to start it myself...although that wouldn't be a huge thing since I post pictures with most posts anyway.

My daughter once took apart a whole box of tampons and put them plastic parts on her fingers, she called them fingernails. Same week she emptied a whole can of shaving cream onto the bathroom floor.

was a trying week. Your doing a great job. Those pictures are adorable.

I don't know what it is about that third picture but she looks so grown up there. She's getting really tall!

Loved the tampon incident, reminded me of a video clip I once saw of a boy sticking his mothers sanitary towels with wings all over the kitchen saying 'areoplane stickers'!
