Can you guess what's missing?

A side mirror? You are correct! Sorry, no great prizes today.

So Friday night we go to the pool. On the way home, I stop off at Sonic to get Ashley and I some ice cream (Ray had already taken Audrey home at this point). I pull into the bay where you order (and for those of you not familiar with Sonic, it's one of those places where they bring food to your car, sometimes on roller skates, most of the time not). I notice that it's a little tight on the one side, but in my excitement over a yummy sundae, I forget this as I start to pull away. And I completely take off my side mirror. Okay, well not completely, as it still had some cord attached that Ray wrestled with on Saturday to take off.

Not a good way to start a weekend...

Oh Amy, that sucks! I hope it doesn't cost too much to get it fixed!

It is better then what Ray did way back in the day...I mean, he took out a windshield with an airbag.

Bummer! But was the ice cream delicously worth it? : )

I would never have done anything like that. THere was the time when the garage just jumped out of nowhere and put a dent into my car, but that was totally not my fault.

LOL! Dave told me about this. Amy, I seriously think this van is just bad luck for you. Tell Ray it's time for a new one. Maybe then the tickets and the body damage will cease!

Ya know, I was all excited because I could actually figure out what was missing. Then I scrolled down and found out there was not a prize! No fair!!

Sabrina's comment is too funny!

I won't comment on the time the wall got in the way of our car door, I thought it very inconsiderate of the wall (I won't mention that I reversed with the door still open)!

Damn, that sucks!! I hope it's easy and cheap to fix!! I would kind of like to know how Ray took out a windshield with an airbag!

I believe that Sonic might just be worth a broken off mirror...

I LOVE Sonic. But I'm sorry about your mirror.

I was parking at a client's office two weeks ago and got too close to a post and scraped up the fender over my wheel well. Tim wasn't happy.

at least you got the yummy sundae, right?

Ooops!
You know walls and posts tend to pop up in front of me out of nowhere all the time except for me it is usually when I'm walking....

bummer:( My hubby did that once! His car was old and a piece of junk so he got a "new" mirror from an auto salvage place!! HEE!!

I have a horrible story about the removal of a side mirror-- but it is way to gruesome to leave in your comments.

Reminds me when I got the hood ornament ripped off my piece of crap Dodge I had in college. Are you kidding me???? You want to make a blinged out necklace from a DODGE, you thug? Nice.
I kept waiting to see my hood ornament as a necklace on some kid from the high school in our neighborhood...never did see.
Ice cream fixes everything though.

I love Sonic but I hate how close those damn things are. I can't tell you how many times I've ALMOST done the exact same thing!

Gotta love Sonic! Sorry that this happened to your poor van!!!

Oh no, but I bet the sundae was yummy. My Saturday wasn't the greatest either as I put a croquet ball through my neighbors brand new plastic fence! Oh well stuff happens I guess!
