Veterans Day

I will be posting my Fun Monday post tonight...

But today, I would like to thank all of our service men and women, from past and present, for what they have done for our country.

My Stepdad is retired Army, and with a couple of bullets still in his back, he served our country well.

Thanks to all our veterans...

Thank you to your stepdad and men and women like him across the world. We do owe them many thanks for what they have done, and continue to do.

We all need to remember that today is much more than a day off from work. I have a cousin in the Army and one in the Marines and both are currently in Iraq. Makes today that much more special for me.

Yesterday was Remembrance Day for us, it is so important to never forget the brave men and women who fought and fight for our freedom.

Please make sure that you tell your stepdad thanks from the Master Chief and his lady.

I'm happy to see so many remembering the Vets on their blogs. :) I had a hard time trying to figure out how to do my two posts as well.

Thanks for the reminder! My dad is a veteran....a few battle wounds as well. We owe each and every one of these men and women a great deal!

My dad was in the Navy and we have several family members who have served in wars in Navy, Army and Airforce. I do remember them on this day.
