Friday Pictures - Audrey gets her cast off...

These four weeks Audrey had her cast on went by REALLY fast. And we are glad. She was beginning to use it more as a weapon to hit her sister. And I was anxious to see what her skin was like under there as she has stuck a paint brush down her cast last week.

These pictures aren't the best quality, but here you go.
She was fine when they sawed the cast off, never cried or flinched. It was when she had to have x-rays that she was pissed. I guess keeping her arm bent at a 90 degree angle for a month and then a nurse making you straighten out your arm, you would be pissed too. She is refusing to move her arm, and keeps telling me, "I hold it". The x-rays showed the break had healed and new bone had formed, so she's good to go.

The last picture of Audrey with her smiling is darling. I can't believe it's already time for her cast to come off! I guess their young bones heal fast. YAY!

She is so adorable and I'm so glad that her little weapon of mass destruction is off her arm before we got to see her on Sunday because there will be about 14 kids there. seriously. It's either 14 or 17. Hubby is coordinating and gave me two numbers. One for adults and one for kids. So either 14 kids or 14 adults will show up with either 17 kids or 17 adults. Whatever. It's going to be CRAZY!

Did you sign up for the cooking class? Come on, snap to it! I'm there!

I bet your glad the weapon was removed. I'm sure it didn't take long for her to figure it would be good for hitting her sister!
She's too cute I can see her holder her arm though, she's probably just used to holding that was it will take her a bit to go back.

What a sweetheart! So glad she got the cast off . . . it's amazing how quickly kids heal - put their bones in the same room and they'll find a way to heal correctly!
