Audrey, Audrey, Audrey...

First it was Friday night. We played outside for a while, and then came inside for bath and bed. During her bath, she started shivering and we noticed she had a fever. So Motrin was dispensed (not after of course her vomiting the first dose right back at me). She was so proud when the second dose stayed down and she kept telling me "I didn't throw up, Mommy". If that had only happened the first time.

So she slept in bed with Ray and I as she fell asleep just as I was about to read her books and I didn't want to move her. She woke up around 3:00am for some more medicine and messed with the dog and stayed up for about an hour.

And then at 6:15, she woke up with a start screaming that she wanted chocolate. No lie, she was crying and screaming for chocolate. Lucky for her, we had some Hershey Kisses downstairs and Ray ran and got some. And yes, that calmed her down. I guess she had a dream about chocolate??

She was fine the rest of the weekend, maybe a little grumpy on Saturday, but that's it. Ashley felt it necessary to wake her up from her nap on Sunday, so she was a little grumpy then too.

And then last night...I put her to bed and went downstairs to attempt to clean up my scrapbooking room. I heard her call for me; at this point it's like 9:30. I was actually on the phone with my Dad. I go upstairs and she has gone out of her room, into the laundry room where we keep the potty chair, taken the potty chair into her room, taken off all her clothes and went pee on the potty. And we haven't even been remotely training her.

Then of course every time I left she tried taking her clothes off. Needless to say, it was a long night.

Man, aren't you lucky! We can't get Isaac to go anywhere NEAR the potty chair. But we are trying...

And he woke up mumbling something about candy last night too. It's in the air!

How's the fever today?

WOW...

Thanks for sharing! Hope the non-training works for you as well as it did for us and ds#2. It was amazing - he just did it...and it was done!!!!

Good luck!

Our second child (eeyore) trained a lot easier than the first too. And loves chocolate.

p.s. try Tylenol instead of Motrin. It's a lot easier on little tummies and less likely to be thrown up. The suppository Tylenols work great too.

Sounds like a fun weekend (sarcasm).....but hey- if she is going to potty train herself, good for her!

Maybe she can help Morgan with the potty. As soon as her little hiney hits the seat, she smiles at me and says "All done, Mama".

Hope she's feeling better and you guys get some sleep!

That's great that she went potty by herself! Strange how it happened though :)

I'm glad she wasn't sick the whole weekend!
