I get really antsy when change is coming, and I think Ashley starting kindergarten is making me that way. I can't really pinpoint what I am feeling at this point. Part of me is excited, and the other part is wondering where in the hell the last five years went.
With the unsteadiness comes my inability to finish anything I have started - I can't begin to list the projects I need to finish. I am slacking in my schoolwork, I can't keep up with my personal email, the dining room still has curtains to sew from weeks, maybe months ago at this point.
But unloading pictures off my camera, I came across this one, and at this point, all that matters are these three "things" in my life. No matter what change is coming, this is my family.

And beautiful things they are!
that is a great picture!!
I love how Ashley is peeking over Ray's shoulder.
Kindergarten is a huge milestone - for kids and parents. It's understandable it may be leaving you a tad unsettled.
so beautiful and so very true.
they are what matter.
they are the most important things you will ever have.
Hang in there! I know how you feel!
But like you are, remember the most important things in life!
Love the picture!
I? Am an idiot. I was like "three? I only see Ray and Audrey." I had to look REALLY hard to see Ashley peeking over Ray's shoulder :) LOVE the picture!!

BEAUTIFUL!!

:)
I love that picture.
I cried and cried and cried when the Twinship started Kindergarten and they were like, "Bye mom! Have a nice day!"
It's much harder on the parents that on the kids, IMHO.
Awesome picture!! What a sweet post.
Great photo...Beautiful things, but sad for a mama. :)
What a great picture! I had a really hard time last year as my son entered Kindergarten. Hang in there...first grade is way more difficult!! ;)
You have such a beautiful family. What a great photo, and a great way to look at life. Family IS what's important.
What a beautiful picture of your family!! And yeah. I remember my daughter's first day of kindergarten like it was yesterday. It was 17 years ago. But at least I have it on video!! It leaves everyone unsettled I think...
