Ashley really wanted a two wheeler scooter, like a Razor. She isn't the most althetic child, and we were excited she was ready to do this (we took training wheels off her bike this weekend as well, but she is still not quite there yet). Friday night we went out and got ice cream and ran into Target and purchased her scooter.
And all she wanted to do on Saturday was ride the scooter (after the back-to-back birthday parties we attended). So she rode and rode and rode, and got better and better.
And then she left it at the end of the driveway.
And I ran over it with the van.

I know I shouldn't, but I'm laughing just a little.
Who's more upset? You or her?
Things that have been run over with by a car in my house:
-Stroller
-Bag of paper plates to take to an all day scrapbooking fest
-Bikes
-Garage
Welcome to mother hood.
PS: Hope you bought insurance for the scooter...
Oops!
OH no!!
I, too, will add my "oh no!" and also, at least they're only thirty bucks.
Oh geez and yes, I am laughing. I hope, but don't tell Ashley, the scooter got the worst end of the dea. Scooters are much cheaper to buy new than car repairs!
AND on the bright side, I bet she learned her lesson about leaving toys at the end of the driveway! : )
So sorry, but I had to laugh because this is totally something my kids and I would do. Was it salvageable?
ooops! sorry it made me giggle too
UGH. Snap. Well, yeah, at least it was a just a scooter and not something else.
I too giggled a little. But maybe lesson learned? Regardless, that's very exciting. We have a scooter too, not a razor though, and it scares me how fearless they appear on them.
wow-- that is some really bad scooter luck!
does she know yet?
hee hee ... i would so do that
oops..had on hubby's account..that was me.
Is it wrong to laugh????
My her scooter rest in peace with our stroller, bike helmet, and favorite dump truck!
OUCH !
Been there. Done that. Husband actually ran over the FULL swimming pool...you know...the inflatable type! I was so pissed off!!! So....who is more upset...you or her???
Ooops!
DOH!
OMG did you really????
oh no! you said that so matter of factly.
Our Curlymop granddaughter was 4 last weekend and we bought her a little red scooter. She was so delighted.
I'll tell her mom to not run over it!!
