Really, really, REALLY random post

Check the post below if you want to participate in next week's Fun Monday challenge.

I need to give a shout out to a couple of people...

CPA Mom for all the clothes she has sent me for Audrey - you rock!

Kelly M for the kick ass homemade stromboli recipe you gave me, I loved it, Ray loved it, and Ashley inhaled it.

SJ for the Chicken Poop you sent me forever ago. Love it.

Now go check out Life, the Universe and Everything for a cool contest through April 15th.

Audrey is doing okay with her allergies considering the amount of pollen in the air around here. There were times last week where there was so much pollen in the air that it was like we were living in a yellow cloud. We can't open our windows at home because the pollen would cover the inside of our entire house. She is on Zyrtec in the mornings and we are giving her Benadryl at night to stop the coughing fits she has in the middle of the night. Neither drug seems to make her sleepy which is good.

OK, I've got to ask. What's Chicken Poop?

Thanks for the link. I'm having fun talking to some new people.

I'm glad the meds are working for Audrey. There's nothing worse than having a kid suffering and not being able to do anything about it. Maybe the oncoming coldsap will give her some more relief?

Poor little thing :( I have been taking allergy medicine since I was about 6...I've just gotten used to it. I think my daughter might have them...she's been sneezing for no reason at all for about a week now. Hubby and I both have allergies, so I know it's her fate.

The pollen is insane here too. I took Ginger for a walk and had to wipe her down with baby wipes before I could let her back in the house. I had a yellow dog!

Also, you and I were commenting on each other's blogs at the exact same time. Freaky deaky!

OMG the pollen! There is a film of green on everything here too. Alyssa has allergies too. It started with Eczema and now is nasal too. She goes for her 15 month check up next week and her doctor will probably give her Zyrtec too! I hope it works!

Glad to hear that Zyrtec is helping Ashley! That's what I take and it's great. Spring time is in FULL EFFECT!

You are so welcome for the Chicken Poop - if you want more, let me know! And actually - if anyone's interested in giving it a try - let me know, just email me!

Stromboli? Did you say stromboli? Sounds heavenly.

But tell me, what's the difference between a stromboli and a calzone? Besides the name of course.

(I love your new template!)

My kids are having a horrible time with their allergies, too. My niece came home from school yesterday because hers were so bad :(

Chicken Poop? Have I been living under a rock?

The pollen is just awful here too.

Casey isn't doing so hot...so if she keeps up like this in a day or so, I'm gonna have to call her pediatrician.

They had her on Dallergy liquid last year and it didn't help so much.

Also glad to hear the zyrtec is helping Audrey. Izzak and Kenzie take it also. It does wonders for them but it makes Izzak sleepy....
