AHHHHHH!

I have been single-parenting since midday on Sunday. Ray is attending a real estate conference in San Diego, one of my favorite cities I have been lucky enough to visit.

But lucky for me, he comes home tonight.

Things he is going to do when he gets home? Walk the darn dog for starters. Take out the trash. Cut the grass, our yard is a jungle. Sadly, I don't even know how to start the lawn mower.

And the girls have been good, it's just I think sometimes hearing "Mommy" 4,682 times a day is a little draining...

:) Makes you appreciate them more when they're not around.

single parenting does stink, even if they are angels!

seriously, get Ray to teach you how to start the mower. HP and I take turns - it is a GREAT workout.

Hello from another jungle! :) I would mow it but our mower is "special needs" and so I can't seem to get it to work... grrr....

how unfair for him to be in San Diego of all places! I hope today goes incredibly quick for you!

hope the rest of your week goes quickly! mowing the lawn isn't that hard, but I'm not sure how you'd do it with 2 little ones at your heels anyway!

A little draining? Try a LOT draining :)

Glad they were good for you and given you birthed the children, you shouldn't have to start the mower.

Oy. Glad the end is near :) I do have to say sometimes it is nice to see what a team your family is when someone isn't there and you are pulling the extra weight. Makes it all the more appreciated :)

At least I get to switch it up to hearing "Mrs. Tuttle" a million times a day for 6 hours before I switch to "mommy". Glad that hubby is coming home soon. I really don't know how single mom's do it, but I give them lots of credit because they are waaaaaayyyyy stronger a woman that I am!

I tend to say "Mommies on vacation" when I get tired of hearing it. LOL

Glad Ray is back tonite and that he can help with the "moms" some! Now get a much needed break all to yourself...even if it is only 10 minutes!

I sometimes like the single parenting...I find it easier to know Hubby will not be home at all, instead of waiting and wondering what time he will be home...and then I REALLY appreciate his return...hope you have a great home welcoming...that is the best part!!!

I don't know how to start the lawnmower either! And I also do not know how to workk the drill or any other tool realted item, other than a screwdriver and hammer. I figure why bother? If I have to clean the whole house, the least he can do is fix things and mow the lawn.

I can't wait for our grass to start growing - then I'll know Spring is here for sure! I don't know how to turn on a lawnmower either. Though my husband casually mentioned that "we" are going to have to rake the lawn this weekend, and I was like, "who's 'we,'Kimosabe!?"

I hope the rest of the week goes quickly for you!
