So for the month of March, I ran exactly 60 miles. This was my second highest mileage month since I started running last June. My other highest month was October 2009 and I logged 70.3 miles that month in preparation for OBX Half Marathon.
I am going attempt to keep up with 60+ mile months and start seriously training again in July for a fall half marathon. Any tips on keeping motivated while not specifically training for something would be greatly appreciated!!

When I was not training I still had a weekly mileage goal that I tried to hit. I also mixed up my days of the week and where I ran. It was fun and stress free.

Hi Amy,
You had a great month of running! To stay motivated, you might want to sign up for a 5K or 10K in April, May and/or June. I find that having a race planned keeps me motivated.
I love that video of Ashley. She's pretty bold. That looked a little scary to me! Have a great weekend!
60 miles!! Great job. I just counted my miles for March and didn't do so good. I only ran 34 miles. Boohoo. Not like me but I had a slow month. Anyway, I keep motivated to run (when I'm not running a half marathon) by downloading what I call my 'running music'. I get excited knowing I have new music on my iPod and only listening to it when I run.
I too am running a half in the Fall. Yippee!! I have 2 little ones so it's hard to get out there. Kudos to you!!
