Thank GOD this is the last day of November...no really, I am done with November.
I am ready for December where every weekend and even every week is slammed packed with events...bring it.
Audrey is better. We are thinking it is her molars. One of them has broken through, and the others I am sure are right there behind it. She of course was fine all day yesterday, even ventured out with me on a quick shopping trip because heaven forbid I sit at home all day one day.
I don't have pictures today...sorry. I spent most of yesterday entertaining Audrey, writing a paper for school, and then leaving early for band practice as I am playing in a woodwind quartet for our town's tree lighting ceremony next Friday night.
And tonight, I am going to bed early and going to sleep. I am tired. Tis the season...

We need a bucket in her room...
Audrey woke up about 10:30 last night with a slight fever. We attempted to give her Tylenol, and I will give you one guess as to what happened. So after cleaning everything up from her throwing up and finally getting her settled back, it was almost 2:00am...and then she was back up at 5:30am with a higher fever. This time we successfully gave her some medicine and she is of course acting like nothing happened...
I have a bunch of stuff I need to post about, but at this point I am trying to stay awake and entertain a very tired, yet energetic almost two year old...

Winter Bazaar - I need your help...

Go check out Scribbit for more great ideas...
So I need your help on my great idea. I saw this in my Parenting magazine, and I thought I would give it a try. It was a countdown to the holidays using envelopes with activity messages in them. I was going to do the envelopes and attach them to the wreath we have hanging inside our deck door. And each day in December, you pick an envelope and do the activity. I think Ashley will get a big kick out of this.
The problem? I need some ideas for some activities...this is what I have so far...
- Go look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood.
- Bake cookies
- Bake a cake
- Get ice cream from Sonic (more for Ray than the kids...)
- Watch a movie
- Drink hot chocolate
- Play a board game
- Go to the Dollar Store and get a treat
Um, and that's where my creativity ends. Help??

A BIG Announcement...no, I am not pregnant
I love new ideas, don't you? How about trying new things? Or better yet, having someone else try new things for you first, and then giving you the scoop as to whether or not it's all that it's cracked up to be.
Sounds like a wonderful idea, doesn't it?
My good friend SJ and I thought so. Enough to where we decided to invest in a little venture of our own but together.
We are proud to announce the reveal of our new review site Lookit! I Spy.
Make sure you check it out, there just might be something in it for you too.

Not much going on...
It's 8:33pm, I have a paper due in my class tonight that I need to finish up, the family room and kitchen has so many empty Christmas boxes that you can barely walk through it, I have to make dinner for tomorrow night, and I need to transfer some pictures from one laptop to another as well as add some software and plug in the external hard drive Ray and I bought on Black Friday to back up my laptop and all its pictures. Oh, and our bed is a pile of laundry to be folded and I would really like to watch the Amazing Race. Which do you think will happen?
Audrey is cutting her two year molars and we attempted to give her some medicine tonight. We almost had throw-up scene #2 for this Thanksgiving weekend, but luckily she swallowed it back. That's my girl.

Friday Pictures on Saturday
I did think twice about breaking out my computer tonight and actually doing a post...but quitting Nablopomofo? I decided against it and will bring you the pictures I promised...
These are from Thanksgiving Day and the Turkey Trot I did...here I come...
And here is a really not good shot of me, but it is actually the best I have. Ray and my Mom had actually just walked up and were about to cross a bridge over a lake to the finish line. I was pissed as I realized how far I was from the finish line. They did not have the miles marked for the race, and that was slightly frustrating.
And here is Ashley after her race...which she loved! They ended up with so many kids doing it, they broke it down my age, so she ran against other four year olds and did great. She was so proud of herself.
And this shot is from Thanksgiving dinner, obviously that's Audrey, Ray, me, my twin brother Mike and his wife Jen, and Ashley. Why Mike is making that face, I have no idea. Audrey is already realizing she will actually have to sit in a high chair for this meal and is pissed.
And this my friends, is my new toy. Hopefully my picture taking abilities will increase, although it might take years as I was given two DVDs and an instruction manual the size of a dictionary to read. And yes, I bought this for myself. I get a bonus in December and I know how much I am getting and this was too good of a deal to pass up on Black Friday. Merry Christmas to me...

Friday pictures tomorrow, I promise
Audrey has thrown up probably at least 20-25 times in her short life. She has a really easy gag reflex and if she gets too full, has too much milk, it shoots right back out her mouth. Fun times, fun times.
So last night, after the buffet dinner and two cups of milk before bed and getting highly pissed that we were leaving her in a pack-n-play, she decided that I would be the target of her faucet of throw up when I went in to try and console her and get her to go to sleep. Not the way I wanted to end my Thanksgiving Day...
And it was really weird to see entire pieces of mac and cheese. I mean, does she chew her food at all?
Anyways, at least that excitement kept me awake for midnight shopping, which was nuts. I stood in line to check out at one store for probably a good 20 minutes. We shopped until about 1:30am, and then headed back home. Back up at 7:00am, and did a little bit more shopping. Of which I got a really, really cool thing...I promise to share later...when I get a good picture of it.
I will give you one picture today, and I am so unbelievably excited and thrilled and teary-eyed and happy that my brother and his wife have asked me to be in his wedding. Yes, I did say his wife. In case you don't remember, they got married at a courthouse so that Jen could work here in the States. She is from Canada, which Ray loves teasing her about.
So this is the dress I get to wear...Wahoo!! (except in Navy blue...)
I will let you guys help me with the shoes...the wedding is next August in Tennessee...any Tennessee bloggers out there, I am coming to your state, beware!
